Neon Dry Brush Nail Art with Born Pretty Store Neon Splatter 3D Stickers

Press Sample
Happy Monday all!  Hope you had a lovely weekend and I want to remind you of my current giveaways. I am giving away a Kiko package for my two year blogiversary HERE and BEGL LE Get Too Close to the Flame and Newly Impassioned Soul HERE. Enter every day for more chances to win!

Today I have some neon splatter 3D nail stickers to show you. I chose these because summer is here and I just love neons when I'm tan (which isn't yet). I'm not one to follow color trends but I just don't reach for neons when it's snowing.

Because these stickers are labeled as 3D you can see the thickness of the sticker and the outline if you put it over a plain color. I noticed this when I was looking through the customer images. I didn't care for the outline so I placed the stickers over quick nail art. The pack comes with 10 stickers of each color, which is 40 stickers total. Depending on how many you use, you can get AT LEAST 4 manicures out of this pack!

I used two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and let it dry for a few minutes. Then using Orly Ablaze, Orly Hot Tropics, Essie Funky Limelight, and Wet n Wild Nerd Alert: Screech, I did the dry brush technique. There isn't much technique. Wipe as much polish off the brush as possible and just brush it on.

One thing to know about these stickers is they are STICKY. Once you place it on, you are stuck with that placement choice. They cannot be moved as they will rip up your polish. I used two coats of top coat to seal it in and disguise the thicker edges of the stickers. The ones on the side of my nail (ring in particular) also pulled up after a day so I suggest if you have curvy nails like me, to place the stickers toward the center of the nail as you can see on my index, middle, and pinky. Those did not stick up at all three days later.
