Crows on a Wire in a Cirque Colors Holographic Sunset with Born Pretty Water Decals

 Partial Press Sample

Phew that's a long title! I received some Halloween water decals after Halloween which was a bummer. But never fear, because I looked around the set and knew somehow I wanted to include a sunset. Then Jen from My Nail Polish suggested crows on a wire and wowwww, this has got to be one of my favorite manicures EVER. It got so many compliments!

I started with doing two coats of Cirque Colors Chrysopoeia and then added a gradient with Cirque Polish Vesuvius, Cypress, and Chrysopoeia. I then added a black line that was not perfect straight as no wires are straight. Then I cut out the crow decals, soaked them in water for 15 seconds, and separated the decal from the paper backing. I placed the crows randomly on my black line. So simple and so stunning.

I love water decals because they go on smoothly and you can play with placement when they are on the nail since they don't instantly stick the nail.

Like I said earlier, I prefer water decals over stickers. They glide on smoothly and aren't bumpy. Plus you can place them where you want after you put them on the nail. Although I only used the crows, you can see how many different looks you can get from the set.  If you want to place an order, you can get 10% off your order with the discount code PDX31 at checkout.
